Gappa <br />Title Director of Public Services <br />Admiaistrator Reviewed: Agenda Section: <br />Public Services Director's Report <br />Itca Description: Request for Pa;umber 1 Navarre Water Tower Rehabilitation <br />The Navarre water rehabilitation and painting project is substantially complete and the tower <br />will be back in service by Monday August 8"*. <br />There is a change order on this project in the amount of $2,500 to add a vent hatch to the bottom <br />of the tank for access and ventilation during painting. This additional hatch was required to meet <br />OSHA worlqtlace safety requirements. <br />We have reviewed the information submitted by the City's engineering firm and recommend <br />qipioval of this Change Order Number 1 and Request for Payment Number 1 . <br />CXIUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Motion to approve Change Order Number 1 for the Navarre Water Tower Rehabilitation Project <br />to Classic Protective Coatings, Menomonie Wisconsin in the amount of $2,500. <br />Motion to approve Request for Payment Number 1 for the Navarre Water lower Rehabilitation <br />Project to Classic Protective Coatings, Menomonie Wisconsin in the amount of $137,584.70. <br />j
