/ '■ * V r <br />V « • <br />At!"1<e> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF <br />SISTER KENNY FOUNDATION <br />FOR A ONE DAY MINNESOTA LAWFUL GAMBLING EXEMPT PERMIT <br />WHEREAS, the Sister Kenny Foundation has applied to the State of Minnesota <br />Gambling Control Board for a Minnesota Lawful Gambling Exempt Permit to conduct lawful <br />gambling activities; and <br />WHEREAS, the Sister Kenny Foundation proposes to conduct a one day <br />gambling activity (raffle) as part of Art of Living Gala and Auction to be held at the Minnetonka <br />Center for the Aits located at 2240 North Shore Drive on June 14,20<JS; and <br />WHEREAS, the Sister Kenny Foundation is required to obtain approval of the <br />gambling activity from the city in which the activity will occur. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Orono City Council does <br />hereby approve the qiplication for a Minnesota Lawful Gambling Exempt Permit for the Sister <br />Kenny Foundation to conduct a one day gambling activity (raffle) at 2240 North Shore Drive cn <br />June 14,2005. <br />Adopted at a regular meeting of the Orono City Council this 13tfi day of June, <br />2005. <br />ATTEST:Barbara A.
