Section 1 of the ittached ordinance adds a code section to Chapter 2, Administration, <br />which meets the requirements of the BCA to conduct background investigations on <br />applicants who are finalists for certain employment positions in the City and who are <br />volunteers in City programs that provide services to children or vulnerable adults. <br />2.Section 2 of the attached ordinance amends Section 26-32, Applications for Business <br />Licenses, by including a provision to order a computerized criminal history and/or <br />driver's license histoiy inquiry on q;>plicants for business licenses. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Motion to adopt Ordinance No., Third Series amending the Orono Municipal Code by <br />adding Section 2-73 and amending Section 26-32 (S) Regarding Computerized Criminal History <br />and Driver’s License History hiquiries. <br />■A
