1 CITY OF ORONO SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT Dntc Ifsucd: Date of Event: May 9,2005 Saturday, May 14,2005 Type of Event: Time: locoildn of Evii^: Block Party with Music 7:00 p.m. - Midnight 1408 Baldur Pa^k RdacT Name of Person(s) And/or Organlutlon Sponsoring this Event: Bili and Kristi Anderson 0^ Phone: 1408 Baldur Park Road Wayzata, MN 55391 952-471-0608 The following documents are required and on file at the City Administrative Orfices: • Approval from Orono Police Department • Approval from Orono Building and 2U>ning Department The following conditions have been placed on this event: • By acceptance of this special event permit, the permit holder, on behalf of any and all organizations and private persons granted authority to operate under the special event permit, agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the City of Orono from all claims arising from said event The permit holder, all organizations and private persons exercising authority under this permit, do waive and release all claims against the City of Orono, its officers or employees for any danuige to person or property arising from the exercise of privileges granted by this permit and apees to hold hamiless the City of Orono, its employees and oflicers from any such claim. • The Orono Police Department and its oflicers are empowered to revoke this special event permit at any time for any safety concerns that are r»t immediately resolved by the permit holder or a representative of the permit holder. This revocation shall cause the immediate cancellation of the event originally authorized by this permit. • Parking drauld be limited to one side of Baldur Park Road. A clear traflic lane must be maintained. • Amplified tmisic must end by Midnight on Saturday, May 14,2005. Police reserve the right to end the music if the sound becomes unmanageable and/or creates too many complaints and/or is deemed excessive. Excessive noise can be evidenced through multiple complaints and no cooperation from the homeowner in getting the volume turned down. • Notification to be provided to the neighborhood regarding the event activities, hours, and a contact name and phone number for any questions or concerns regarding this event. • If liquor is available, it is not to be provided to persons under the age of 21. If there is a charge for liquor, a liquor license must be obtained. • Police may issue citations for any city or state ordinance or statute violations.
