The site improvements <br />include the removal and replacement of the existing steps to the lake. The plans propose to install granite stairs <br />in combination with boulder retaining walls. We have the following comments with regards to engineering <br />matters: <br />• The existing survey shows stairs without any retaining walls. It appears that the proposed retaining <br />walls are unnecessary and will generally give the appearance of an extremely tall wall when viewed <br />from the lake.
