However, from a precedence perspective, this nonconformity cannot be ignored and a variance <br />should be processed and approved in the normal manner, as an amendment to the current application. <br />Staff Recommendation. Staff would recommend that the resolution for the stairway and walls be <br />"dopted, and that the applicant be allowed to amend the existing application to include a lot width <br />variance, to be published for a public hearing at the Planning Commission’s June 20 meeting, with <br />Council action on June 27.
