MINUTES OF THE <br />ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />Monday, January 10,2005 <br />7:00 o’clock p.m. <br />(#04-3016 Wayzata Detlgn A Development, Continued) <br />Galfion stated Tract G does need to be addressed in terms of maintenance. GafTron stated McCuskey <br />may want to consider being an adjunct member or an associate member of the homeowners association. <br />Gaffron noted that this is an unusual situation in that a property that is not located within the subdivision <br />is being required to use the new private road. <br />Peterson nmved, Sanscvcrc seconded, to direct Staff to -Iraft a resolution approving final plat for <br />Application #04-3016, Henry Lazniarz/Wayzata Design A Development, 120 Brown Road South. <br />VOTE: Ayes 4, Nays 0 <br />5. #04-3052 ERIC VOGSTROM, 2618 CASCO POINT ROAD-VARIANCES <br />Eric Vogstrom, Applicant, was pre.sent. <br />Sansevere indicated he is in support of the applicant’s revised plan, but that he would prefer the trees be <br />replaced prior to any construction starting on this lot <br />(Sansevere leaves at 8:10 p.m.) <br />Gaf&on noted the applicant has rubmitted a revised plan to reflect a 1 ,499 square fool building footprint, <br />removal of one parking stall, and a variance request to allow 31.7 percent hardcover within the 75’-250’ <br />setback zone. Staff is recommending approval of the revised plan and the variance for 31.7 percent <br />hardcover within the 75’-250’ setback zone. <br />Gaflron stated the applicant has submitted a revised restoration plan, which is currently under review by <br />Staff, noting that Staff is close to accepting it Gaf&on stated there may need to be some sort of <br />development agreement that goes along with the restoration plan. Gaffron staled the Council has the <br />option to direct Staff to draft a resolution reflecting Council’s action for adoption or to reject the current <br />plan and again provide the applicant with guidance. <br />McMillan inquired whether the garage is going to l)c a tuck-under garage. <br />Vogstrom staled the room on the far right is not a bedroom and is actually a garage. Vogstrom indicated <br />due to the program on his computer he was required to label that as a l>edroom rather than garage to arrive <br />at the square footage. <br />White noted this is a four-bedroom house. <br />Peterson inquired whether the deck was counted twice in the hardcover calculation. <br />Gaffron stated the deck consists of 150 square feet <br />Peterson noted there are two decks depicted.
