r A UKSOLi; HON Ain IIOUl/ING THE CITY OF OUONO lO EXTEND AN AGREEMENT FOR THE USE OF HENNEPIN CODNTY' S El JXTRONK’ PROPIE I'ARY DA I A RASE WHEREAS, the County h;is developed au electronic proprietary geographical information data base wliicli was designed using an automated mapping facility software product, which proprielaiN geographical digitized data base is hereinafter referred to as "l-lectronic I’ropnctary Data Rase ” (l-PDR) and which is described in the Hennepin County Conditional Use I.icense Agreement attached hereto and hereby made a part hereof; aiul WHEREAS, the City of Orono desires to use the County's Fl’DR, and the City has retained the consulting engineering linn of Ronestroo Rose le Andeiiik (R1C\) to provide services to the City, and the laty and RRA desire to use the County's Hl’DR in the course of conducting the City's business; and WHEREAS, the County intctids that any additions and modifications to the HPDR relating to the County remain wholly compatible with the County's I'.PDR for the period of the copyright and mformalion added to the ilata base by either the County or tiie City shall be made available to either party; and WHEREAS, in acknowledgment ol'the Entity's above stated purpose, the County is agreeable to provide to the City and RRA access to the PPUR described in Exhibit A; and WHEREAS panics agiee th.it the execution of this Agreement is nece.ssar> in order to adequately protect said EPDR; iuid WHEREAS on July 1.'. 1 ‘JW the City Council approved Resolution No 4321 authonz-inp, execution of the Hennepin County EPDR Cimditional I Ise l icense Agreement; and NOW, 1 HEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council authorizes extension of the Hennepin County I PDR Conditional Use License Agreement tlirough December 31, 2005.
