GafTron <br />Planning Director <br />City of Orono <br />Jan.3,2005 <br />Dear Mr. Gafiron ; <br />Thanks very much for meeting with the McCuskeys and us to <br />review the proposed development of 120 So.Brown rd. I have a copy of <br />Mr McCuskey’s letter of 1/3/05. In general I would support the points <br />enumerated in die letter and in particular I would ask for written <br />confirmation on points Us 3,4,8,10414243}144Syand 16 as they would <br />apply to my property. <br />In addition, I would ask written confirmation of the <br />following: First-fiiat fiiere will be no further lot sales or devdopment any <br />where on die property other than those proposed in this development <br />Second-TIuit the portion of the property that b direcdy east of <br />our property and is bounded by the Luce Line on the soudi and by the <br />creek on die west and nordi remain in it’s natural forested state . <br />Third'Uo additional bridges be built across die creek,though <br />the current structure may be improved if necessary for safety. <br />Fourth-the path from die proposed development to the Luce <br />Line not be hard [bituminouslcovered and be left as much as possible in <br />a natural state . <br />Fifth* I would like assurauces diat the 75 foot building set back <br />from the creek be stricdy enforced. <br />We are gready coocemed as to the height of the proposed <br />houses and as noted woidd like die limitations to be stricdy enforced. <br />Thank you very much for your time and consideration and please extend <br />out thanks to tte members of the City Council and Planning Commission <br />for their service and support <br />Sincerd: <br />cc.Henry Lazniarz <br />David McCuskcy <br />Douglas R.
