�Op CITY OF ORONO <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> te' C~ No. 7323 <br /> ,gkESH0%ti <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING PAY PLAN ADJUSTMENTS FOR <br /> NON-UNION CITY EMPLOYEES FOR 2023 <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator is responsible for annually presenting pay adjustments for <br /> City employees,with the exception of employees covered by collective bargaining agreements; and <br /> WHEREAS,sufficient funds have been appropriated in the proposed 2023 Annual Budget to fund <br /> the recommended pay adjustments and such other matters of compensation as herein specified. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,by the Orono City Council as follows: <br /> 1. That the City's non-union pay scale be increased to realign pay scales across all employee <br /> groups as identified in the accompanying non-union wage scale. <br /> 3. That the City's cafeteria benefit plan contribution for non-union employees will be$1,750 <br /> per month for employees on family coverage, remain at $915 for single and $130.26 <br /> for waivers. <br /> 4. That all City employees using their own vehicles for approved work related business shall <br /> be compensated at a rate allowed by the IRS (currently$0.62.5 per mile). <br /> 5. That the 2023 Safety Shoe Reimbursement will increase to$300 for employees that qualify <br /> for this reimbursement. <br /> 6. Longevity pay for qualifying employees will be $0.10 per hour for each year of service <br /> once an employee reaches eight years of service. <br /> Adopted by the Council this 12th day of December,2022. <br /> ATTEST: <br /> OL,,93-CS:11 <br /> Anna Carlson, City Cler Dennis Walsh,Mayor <br />
