t.r. <br />? • <br />JOINT RESOLUTION OF THE CITIES C? <br />LONG LAKE AND ORONO <br />For the concurrent detach.Tient and ariHexation of certain <br />land* from the City of Orono and the annexation of the same to <br />the City of Long Lake pursuant to Minn. Stat. S 414.061; and <br />the stipulation of both municipalities that neither will <br />support future annexations by either municipality pursuant to <br />Minn. Stat. S 414.061. <br />RECITALS <br />WHEREAS, Long Lake has petitioned for the concurrent <br />detachment and annexation of certain real property, described <br />% <br />in Exhibit A which incorporated herein by reference, into the <br />City of Long Lake pursuant to Minn. Stat. S 414.061, Subd. 5, <br />at seq.; and <br />WHEREAS, Orono has opposed the petition of Long Lake; and <br />WHEREAS, the matter is presently pending before the <br />Minnesota Municipal Board, and currently scheduled to resume <br />trial on November 25, 1991; and <br />WHEREAS, the parties desire to amicably resolve the <br />petition of Long Lake without further litigation allowing Long <br />Lake to assume jurisdiction and Orono to enforce cer..ain <br />covenants after annexation; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Cities Of Long <br />Lake and Orono do hereby resolve as follows; <br />1, • T.hat certain real property situated in the State of <br />Minnesota, County of Hennepin, which is legally described in <br />Exhibit A, and to which Long Lake holds title in fee should be <br />detached from the City of Orono and annexation to the City of <br />Long Lake <br />o <br />dtfil 1 tfi 111 L. ...
