Box 66 <br />Crystal Bay, Mn. 55323 <br />Dear Ms. Mabusth <br />The purpose of this letter is to explain why we are <br />applying for a variance at 3330 N. Shore Drive. As you <br />know I currently live at 3342 N. Shore Dr. and have <br />purchased the property adjacent and to the east of mine <br />or 3330 N. Shore Dr. The new lot is zoned commercial <br />and I request that it be rezoned to residential (LRlCl). <br />I further request a variance to repair the existing <br />house by replacing tlie roofing shingles and applying a <br />fresh coat of paint. It is also my general intention to <br />clean the entire property up and remove the debris left <br />by the previous owener. <br />I currently have retained an attorney and he will be <br />combining the the two properties into one with a new <br />legal description. Please refer to the enclosed survey, <br />sketches, etc. for details. If the zoning change and <br />variance are approved it is my intention to use the <br />small house primarily for storage of hobby craft items. <br />This building would then simply become a part of my <br />existing residence. <br />Thank you for your assistance. <br />Sincerely: <br />Phyllis B.
