FACILITY WORKSHOP MEETING <br />APRIL A, 1991 - 6:00 P.M. <br />iiHL <br />Members present Mayor Barbara Peterson, CounciImembers J. Diann <br />Goetten, Ed Callahan, Gabriel Jabbour and Mary Butler. Planning <br />Commission members Charles Kelly, Ed Cohen, Maureen Bellows, <br />Candy Rowlette, Jim Hanson, Sara Moos and Jeff Johnson. Citizen <br />Committee members Morris Nelson, Steven Wilson and Bill Stubbs. <br />Staff members Mel Kilbo, Jeanne Mabusth and John R. Gerharc son. <br />Architect Jack Boarman and residents Curt Quady and David <br />Peterson were also present. <br />Mayor Peterson opened the meeting with a brief explanation of why <br />the meeting was called and then asked foe introduction from <br />everyone. <br />Jack Boarman explained the process briefly as to what had <br />happened previously and that after several meetings the site <br />selection was reduced to three sites; Crystal Bay/Sewer Treatment <br />Plant, Crystal Bay/Highway 12 and Highway 12. <br />r.Jack explained some of the costs related to each site and then <br />opened the meeting for discussions and questions. After brief <br />discussion the Planning Commission and Citizen Committee members <br />asked what was next. Gabriel Jabbour wanted a recommendation <br />from the Planning Commission and the Citizens Committee in <br />written form about site location only at this time and suggested <br />Steven Wilson be the Chair of the Citizens Committee. Ed <br />Callahan stated that perhaps tonight would be a good time to vote <br />on the site he felt we did not have to wait any longer. <br />ir
