16 <br />223749v5 <br />Each employee shall participate in the Minnesota Post Employment Health Care Savings Plan <br />(HCSP) established under Minnesota Statues section 352.98. All funds collected by the employer <br />on behalf on the employees shall be deposited into their individual HCSP. Commencing January <br />1, 2023, each employee shall contribute 2% of salary to their PEHCSP. The employer shall deduct <br />this amount from the employees payroll check. <br />ARTICLE 26 POST LICENSE/TRAINING <br /> <br />26.1 The EMPLOYER shall pay the cost of the employee’s POST license fees. <br />26.2 The EMPLOYER will pay for and provide the required training for POST board licensing <br />upon the employee receiving prior written approval from the EMPLOYER to attend such <br />training. <br />26.3 Employees attending voluntary/optional training will be eligible for up to 1 (one) hour of <br />paid travel time at their regular rate of pay. If the Employee owes TOC, this travel time <br />can be deducted from the hours owed in TOC. Travel time will be calculated as time from <br />the Orono Police Department to the training site. <br />26.4 Payroll – When feasible, the supervisor will talk to an employee prior to changing their <br />time sheet. In all cases, a supervisor will contact the employee by email prior to <br />changing the time sheet. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 27 DAYLIGHT SAVINGS <br /> <br />27.1 Patrol Officers working shifts during daylight savings will only be paid for the actual hours <br />worked. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 28 EYEWEAR REPLACEMENT <br /> <br />28.1 Prescription eyewear damaged in the line of duty will be replaced at a cost not to exceed <br />Two Hundred Fifty and no/100ths ($250.00) Dollars. <br />
