<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CITY OF ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />NO. 7307 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE <br />MINNESOTA LAWFUL GAMBLING APPLICATION FOR EXEMPT PERMIT <br />FOR ORONO BASEBALL ASSOCIATION FOR <br />A ONE DAY GAMBLING PERMIT <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Orono Baseball Association has submitted an application to <br />conduct lawful gambling activities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Orono Baseball Association has proposed to conduct a one day <br />gambling activity (raffle) as part of its fundraising activities on January 6, 2023; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Orono Baseball Association is required to obtain approval of the <br />one day gambling activity from the city in which the activity will occur; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono has no objection to the conduct of lawful <br />gambling by the applicant, in accordance with law, at the designated location. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Orono City Council does <br />hereby approve the application of Orono Baseball Association to conduct a one day gambling <br />activity (Raffle) at 795 Old Crystal Bay Road N., Orono, MN 55356, on January 6, 2023. <br /> <br />Adopted at a regular meeting of the Orono City Council this 14th day of <br />November, 2022. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />____________________________________ <br />ATTEST: Dennis Walsh, Mayor <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />_______________________________ <br />Anna Carlson, City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
