Representing Staff were City Attorney Soren Mattick, City Administrator/Engineer Adam <br />Edwards, Finance Director Ron Olson, Community Development Director Laura Oakden, and City Clerk <br />Anna Carlson. <br /> <br />Mayor Walsh called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m., followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />Crosby asked to remove item 9 for discussion. <br /> <br />1. ORONO CROSSING – ACCEPTANCE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS – RESOLUTION NO. <br />7303 <br />7. TRUCK REPLACEMENTS WITH RELATED COMPONENTS <br />8. APPROVAL TO REPLACE WATER SOFTENER FOR WATER PLANT <br />9. RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN APPLICATION FOR A HENNEPIN COUNTY SPORTS <br />FACILITY GRANT FOR PICKLEBALL COURTS AT ORONO GOLF – RESOLUTION NO. <br />7305 <br />This item was removed from the Consent Agenda. <br />10. FIRE DEPARTMENT EQUIPMENT PROCUREMENT – LADDER TRUCK (PROJECT #22- <br />047) <br />Crosby moved, Seals seconded, to approve the Consent Agenda as amended. VOTE: Ayes 5, Nays <br />0. <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />11. CERTIFICATION OF DELINQUENT UTILITIES - RESOLUTION NO. 7304 <br /> <br />Mayor Walsh opened the public hearing at 6:02 p.m. <br /> <br />Finance Director Olson stated the City does not turn off water for non-payment of utility bills and instead <br />they annually certify them for collection with the following year’s property taxes. There are currently 113 <br />properties with a total amount owed of $93,000 sent for certification. <br /> <br />Mayor Walsh closed the public hearing at 6:03 p.m. <br />
