CITY OF ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. 7306 <br />2 <br />Based upon one or more of the above findings, the Orono City Council hereby <br />amends the approved plans associated with a variance to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Section <br />78-305 to allow construction of an 18’ x 12’ deck and stair to be located within the 50-foot rear, <br />street yard setback; and Section 78-1279 to allow construction of a deck within the 75’ lake yard <br />setback; and Section 78-1680 to allow hardcover within the 75-foot setback area for the new deck <br />for a total site hardcover level of 3,905 square feet or 24.04%, subject to the following conditions: <br />1.Council approval is based on the entire record, including Findings outlined in Resolution <br />No. 7179. <br />2.The approved project shall conform to the site plan and building plans submitted by the <br />Applicants attached to Resolution No. 7179, and the revised deck plan attached to this <br />Resolution as Exhibit A. <br />3.Any amendments to the plans which are not in conformity with City codes may require <br />further Planning Commission and City Council review. <br />4.Authorities granted by this resolution run with the Property not with the Applicants, but are <br />permissive only and must be exercised by obtaining a building permit for the new <br />construction and commencing construction of said project. The original approval with <br />Resolution 7179 was administratively extended and set to expire on June 28, 2023.
