ance application <br />an 81' X 104' <br />e finding that <br />esolution #886. <br />iance of 28% <br />eek Watershed <br />ing schedule <br />or the sole use <br />the Orono Zoning <br />mmmm <br />ty. <br />m <br />:■ -::/v .Ml <br />f" ■: ■■■■.> <br />h‘y.■■:■■'■ <br />mm <br />.'■-V <br />' •■. <br />je:: <br />D <br />RESOLUTION NO. 886 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING <br />A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR CALVARY MEMORIAL CHURCH <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation <br />organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono has adopted <br />zoning regulations for the orderly, economic and safe development <br />of land within the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the application for <br />a Conditional Use Permit by Calvary Memorial Church for transfer <br />of ownership and use of the Elizabeth Gardner School building at <br />2420 Dunwoody Avenue from Independent School District 277 to <br />Calvary Memorial Church; and <br />WHEREAS, Calvary Memorial Church has stated intentions <br />of using the building for church services and related functions <br />and for parochial school classes and related functions; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono Zoning Code, Sections 34.530, <br />34.020, 34.021 and 34.022 specifically authorize such church <br />and school use by Conditional Use Permit in residential zoning <br />districts: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of <br />the City of Orono, Minnesota, hereby approves a Conditional Use <br />Permit for Calvary Memorial Church subject to the following <br />conditions: <br />1. <br />2. <br />3. <br />4. <br />The land and building shall be used for church and/or <br />school functions as allowed by the Orono Zoning Code <br />Sections 34.021 and 34.022. <br />Sufficient space shall be provided for off-street parking <br />of all vehicles at all times with no on-street parking allowed <br />for any reason. <br />Future building expansion plans shall be subject to review <br />and City Council approval and amendment of this Conditional <br />Use Permit, and such future expansion may be limited in <br />scope due to insufficient lot area or off-street parking <br />availability. <br />The City Council reserves the right to review and amend <br />this Conditional Use Permit upon due cause, including <br />receipt of complaints from nearby neighbors. <br />C <br />r <br />e <br />s <br />i <br />d <br />o <br />w <br />ATTES
