His application asks that placed a ® <br />same 9.6' street setback. He quotes his hardships as the slope <br />to the very immediate south of the proposed garage and <br />location of a mature oak and several other small trees. The <br />proposed location will also permit the use of the existing <br />gravel turnaround and cut down on the hardcover. Yes, the <br />doors face away from the street. <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br />To approve the street setback variance application of Thomas <br />Corson to permit the construction of a 32' x 24' detached garage <br />based on the following findings and hardships; <br />1) Slope of land to south of proposed garage. <br />2) Location of a mature oak and several small <br />trees. <br />The proposed setback will allow use of existing <br />gravel turnaround and cut down on additional <br />hardcover. <br />Approval is subject to the following conditions: <br />1) Doors of garage must face away from the street. <br />2) Turnaround co be maintained on the site - no <br />backing out onto Highwood Road.
