Beck (hereinafter "the applicant") is <br />owner of the property located at 1280 North Arm Drive wi thin the City of <br />Orono (hereinafter "City") and legally described as follows; <br />Lots 7, 8, and 9, Block 3, Saga Hill Revised (hereafter <br />"property"), and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has made application to the City of <br />Orono to permit the creation of a temporary guest apartment within the <br />walkout level of the existing house at 1280 North Arm Drive by <br />constructing separate kitchen facilities. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br />Minnesota: <br />FINDINGS <br />I. This application was revi wed as zoning file ii856. <br />2. The property is located in the LR-lB Single Family <br />Lakeshore Residential Zoning District. <br />3. The property is approximately 0.75 acre in area. <br />4. T)ie Orono Planning Commi ss i on reviewed this appl i ca t ion <br />on September 17, 1?B4, and recommended approval of the <br />proposed variance to the 2 acre lot area requirement for the <br />temporary second dwelling unit per Zoning Code Section <br />10.08, Subdivision 3(A)(7), and recommended approval of a <br />conditional use permit for the temporary guest apartment, <br />subject to the following conditions: <br />a) The guest apartment is for use of family members <br />only. <br />b) This guest apartment use may not bf conveyed to a <br />purchaser of the property. <br />c) T)ic guest apartment may not be rented out. <br />d) T)»is u.se is subject to City review at t)ie end of <br />four years. <br />I <br />I
