No existing <br />conditional use permit is on file for the structure. The caretaker <br />house meets the 30' side setback requirement, and the proposed <br />addition will create no encroachments. There is adequate area on the <br />property to meet all septic system needs. The requirement for an <br />additional 2-acres of dry buildable, in addition to the 2 acres for the <br />main house, is adequately met. <br />Please review the plat map section attached and note the location <br />of the principal residence and the caretaker house and barn. <br />The proposal appears to meet all requirements of Section 10.20, <br />Subdivision 3 (G) for a guest house conditional use permit. Staff <br />would recommend approval subject to the standard requirement that the <br />structure may not be rented out.
