In consideration of the findings setforth <br />in the Planning Commission's majority opinion recommendation and in light <br />of the direction to the Council in the recommendation of the minority <br />of the Planning Commission members, staff has drafted a recommendation of <br />variance approval for your review. A copy of this memo and resolution <br />will be sent to the applicant for his review and comments prior to the <br />January 9, 1984 meeting. <br />The City Attorney :ihould advise if the City is able to act formally on <br />the Smith application until the ordinance is officially amended by the <br />March 1, 1984 recodification deadline.
