WILDMAN <br />280 WAKEFIELD ROAD <br />AFTBR-THB-PACT VARIANCE <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />It was moved by Chairman Callahan, seconded by Sime, to table <br />this matter due to an incomplete application. Motion, Ayes <br />5, Nays 0. <br />/f92^YLB RAHN <br />4I1LDHURST TRAIL <br />CONDITIONAL USB PERMIT - <br />SECOND REVIEW <br />Callahan explained the application for a <br />Conditional Use Permit to use an existing cabin as a guest <br />house. <br />Lyle Rahn was present for this matter. <br />Assistant Zoning Administrator Gaffron noted that an actual <br />hardcover review of the property has not been done. <br />Kelley stated he was agreeable with the guest house use but <br />felt there was a problem with the hardcover. <br />Mr. Rahn proposed a cistern as a possible solution to the <br />drainage problem. He also stated that his son is living in <br />the guest house for the summer. <br />Mr. Rahn noted that back in 1974 the structure was 75' from the <br />lakeshore but since has lost approximately 5 feet as shown in <br />the 1985 survey. <br />Kelley stated that he felt the Conditional Use Permit be <br />issued subject to the hardcover in the 75-250* realistically <br />conform with that allowed. <br />It was moved by McDonald, seconded by Kelley, to table this <br />matter pending the actual hardcover calculations and solving <br />drainage problems. Motion, Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />GUEST HOUSES/APARTMENTS <br />Due to the recent applications for guest houses/apartments, <br />it was moved by Chairman Callahan, seconded by McDonald, to <br />recommend adopting a resolution/moratorium suspending <br />applications for guest houses/apartments until staff can <br />review and make recommendations. Motion, Ayes 4, Nays 1. <br />Rovegno voted nay stating that he does not feel moratoriums <br />should be taken lightly and felt that staff should be <br />instructed to promptly review and make recommendation.
