PAGE 12 <br />M <br />H928 PULA <br />(Cont.) <br />Goetten noted that she personally could not approve the <br />application regardless of the septic information received <br />because the existing lot is less than one acre and is located <br />in a two acre zoning district. <br />Kelley stated that he might vote for approval after the <br />additional septic information is received. <br />Taylor concurred with Kelley stating that if the septic <br />information received was positive that he would be able to <br />vote approval for the application. <br />McDonald noted that approval would set a precedent for future <br />. applications and that she was undecided at the moment as to <br />which way to vote. <br />Sime also felt if the septic information received was <br />positive he would be able to vote for the application. <br />Rovegno stated that the City should consider some new <br />standards for guest houses since guest apartments are <br />becoming more prominent. <br />Chairman Callahan stated that he would feel hesitant in <br />approving a second dwelling on this lot since it is under an <br />acre. <br />Chairman Callahan closed the public hearing at 9:59 p.m. <br />Chairman Callahan moved, Sime seconded, to table the Pula <br />conditional use permit application pending receipt of the <br />additional septic information requested by staff. Assistant Zoning Adminis­ <br />trator Gaffron noted the certificate of mailing and the <br />affidavit of publication. Lyle Rahn was present. Harriet <br />Morgart of 1103 Wildhurst Trail was present for this public <br />hearing but had no comments. <br />Assistant Zoning Administrator Gaffron stated that the <br />applicant has been asked to file a conditional use permit for <br />a guest house located in his lakeshore yard. Gaffron stated <br />that the structure existed on the property since prior to <br />1974. Gaffron stated that the applicant submitted a <br />variance application to build a new home on his lot in 1974 <br />which was subsequently approved.
