7*^ - a - <br />CITY <br />City of ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. 1590 <br />OF <br />ORONO <br />Granting A Variance To Municipal <br />Zoning Code Section 34.840 - Pile 771 <br />Whereas, Bruce Clark (hereafter "applicant") has an <br />interest in the property located -t 1180 Lyman Avenue within the City of <br />Orono (hereafter "City") and legally described as follows: <br />Registered Land Survey No. 1067, that part of Tract A lying <br />Easterly of a line commencing at most Northerly corner of <br />Tract A, thence Southerly to a point in South line thereof, <br />distance 120 feet West from Northeast corner of Tract B <br />(here,'fter "the property"); and <br />Whereas, the applicant has applied to the City for a <br />Variance to Municipal Zoning Code Section 34.840 to permit the <br />construction of a new residence on a lot with 68,171 square feet instead <br />of the required 87,120 square feet. <br />Minnesota: <br />Now, Therefore Be It Resolved by the City Council of Orono, <br />Findings <br />1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File No. 771. <br />2. The property is located in the RR-IB Single Family Rural <br />Residential Zoning District. <br />3. The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on <br />November 21, 1983, and recommended approval of the proposed <br />variance as amended based upon the following findings: <br />a) No other land available. <br />b) No other variance is requested. <br />c) A lot area variance was approved in 1977. <br />4. The City Council has considered this application including <br />the findings and recommendations of the Planning Commission, <br />reports by City staff, comments by the owner and the effect of the <br />proposed variance on the health, safety and welfare of the <br />community. <br />i <br />I ^ <br />i <br />i <br />A <br />; <br />r ft:
