As I noted to you previously, we have received a <br />complaint regarding the excavation of a pond on the 5th fairway, near a <br />residential neighborhood whore children play. <br />v;e discussed the fact that the Country Club had applied for and re­ <br />ceived a conditional use permit for alterations to a pond on the 12th <br />fairway in 1981. I have reviewed the file for that application, and can <br />understand that you may have gotten the impression that the Planning <br />Commission and Council did not feel that application was of great concern. <br />However, the City staff does not have the authority to waive the require­ <br />ments for a conditional use permit for a ptoje t such as you have con ­ <br />structed on the 5th fairway. A condition..) use permit is definitely <br />required. I am forwarding to you the application form anc. note that the <br />deadline for such application for the June Planning Commission meeting is <br />May 23rd. Please contact me if you will have trouble completing the appli­ <br />cation and required submittals by this date. <br />i’he application fee per the currer-: lee schedule is: <br />$200 - Conditional Use Permit <br />$200 - After-the-Fact Investigation Fto <br />$400 + $40 Refundable Land Use Application Sign Fee <br />In the event that the conditional use permit is granted the actual <br />grading permit for the pond would be priced per the attached fee schedule. <br />You are required to cease all work o.= this pond immediately.
