rrrr--P <br />Heyor nary Buller <br />City of Orono <br />Orono lin. <br />^2 6/985 <br />Dear Mauor Butler <br />Th’$ is in reference to the city ordinance governing the storing of <br />boats, trailers, docks, etc. on residential lots. <br />Because of the pliysical pr-oblerns of many of the lots on Crystai Bay <br />Rd , (1 e , narro'.Y lots, closely spaced houses, inaccessabie rear yards, a <br />road aiong the lekeshore, etc ) it is almost irnoossible for the residents to <br />comply '•■vith the ordinance as it is now vyritten. As one drives along other <br />lakeshore areas of Orono, it becomes evident that many other people have <br />the same problem <br />I he lake is the basis lor a oreat deal of recreational activitu ail nnar <br />consequent!y, a great deal of equipment ( boats, snowrnobiies, docks, etc.) <br />is accumulated by the residents, in view of this, ’ urge the city to amend <br />the ordinance so that it more closely addresses the needs and limitions of <br />the citizens of Drono, and specifically the pr.<b!erns of Crystal Bay Rd <br />residents. <br />Respectfully. <br />1 <br />iV S, s ^/ <br />II <br />! <
