Applicant is requesting to <br />construct a 30'x64* machine storage building on his property of <br />approximately 11 dry acres. <br />The proposed building will be located 108* from the cast lot <br />line and i02' from the south lot line. From the plans submitted, <br />it appears this is to be constructed as a storage building and <br />not a horse barn, hence it is not subject to the 150' setback. <br />It does meet the 10' accessory structure setbacks. <br />The Duildinq Official notes that an accessory structure of <br />this size must mc*et certain building code standards which will <br />apply. <br />Note that one of the reasons we restrict accessory <br />structures to 1,000 square feet is that they tend to attract <br />o t ii e r i b'. c e 1 1 a n e o u s type uses i n residential zones. Any <br />recomimondation for approval should suggest language restricting <br />the use to private residential storage, and suggest the following <br />condi tions : <br />1. No plumbing may be installed in tie building. <br />2. This building may never be used as a second dwel ling <br />unit. <br />3. The building m.iy not be used as a barn or stable.i
