Gasoh <br />REI Variance for 1040 Tonkawa Road <br />We have lived In our home (I030 Tonkawa Road, Just north of the <br />Bauman’s) for 30 years. We expect our home to be In the family <br />for many years to come. <br />We are concerned about the application for a variance at <br />1040 Tonkawa Road and Its effect on our property. While we <br />have no objections to a pool on that property, we are opposed <br />to the granting of a varl,ance for a pool structure beyond the <br />site-line. <br />Our opposition Is based on the followingi <br />1, variance Is granted because of a hardship. What Is the <br />hardship In this application? <br />2. About six months ago the Baumans built a large addition on <br />the west side of their home for a studio and additional <br />garages. If an enclosed pool was Important to them, then <br />that site should have been considered, <br />3, Pour of the adjacent neighbors are ooposed to the variance. <br />To my knowledge, no neighbor has stated support of It. <br />4.
