EVERYTHING WAS A TOTAL LOSS <br />lOWEVER, THE BLOCK FOUNDATION WAS SALVAGABLE. DUE TO THIS MY INSURANCE <br />:OMPANY DID NOT REIMBURSE ME FOR THE REBUILDING OF THE BASEMENT FOUNDATION. <br />AM REQUESTING This> VARIANCE BECAUSE I WANT TO REBUILD MY HOME ON THE <br />iXISTING BLOCK STRUCTURE THAT WILL ALLOW ME TO MINIMIZE ANY ADDITIONAL LOSSES, <br />JY DESIGNING A HOME THAT FITS OVER THE EXISTING BLOCK STRUCTURE. UPON <br />ENQUIRING ABOUT THE BUILDING PERMIT THEY SAID THAT THE EXISTING STRUCTURE DID <br />lOT MEET THE REQUIRED SET-BACKS NECESSARY BY APPROXIMENTLY 13 FEET. <br />THEREFORE, I AM REQUESTING THIS VARIANCE DUE TO THE UNUSUAL PREDICAMENT THIS <br />IAS PUT IN ME IN. I FEEL THIS WILL IN NO WAY BE A DETRIMENT TO THE <br />lEIGHBORHOOD OR COMMUNITY AND WILL ONLY ENHANCE THE VALUES OF THE SURROUNDING <br />â–ºroperty owners and will also allow me to begin putting my life back together <br />IGAIN.
