In discussing the <br />vacation with Orono city officials, there is a question <br />whether the adjacent property owners would be entitled to <br />half of the alley because they are in a different <br />subdivision or plat. Enclosed is a check for $250 for the <br />vacation fee. <br />The second application is for a zoni.-ig variance for a <br />lot under the 2 acre minirnurr.. The house was o<riginally built <br />in 1905 and remodelled 2 years before I bought it in 19S3. <br />No building permits were issued for that remodeling. Much of <br />the new remodelling I am p*lanning concerns bringing the <br />building up to the building codes. The remodel 1ing will be <br />extensive. <br />The remodel 1 ing 'will ^:'-^0!'!d the east wall four feet and <br />add a new second story. The large deck shown in the p-lans <br />will not be built but the existing deck might be turned into <br />a three season porch. The remodelling will be done by <br />Sylvestre Construction who has rernodellad many beautiful <br />houses in the Orono area. <br />Another large issue will be the septic/sewer system. It <br />is my hope that the city sewer does ge"?:- oipproved so a new <br />septic system will not be needed. With a addition of drain <br />fields we installed three years ago, our septic system has <br />been adequate for che cwo peop-ia living here. <br />Enclosed is a check for $175 for the varistnce <br />application fee.
