Motion* Ayes (5) - Nays (0)* <br />Cheyenne Land Conpany “ Henry Muhlch* Building a <br />Zoning Administrator* reviewed the various <br />staff reports that had previously been submitted <br />to the City Council and Planning Commission <br />concerning this application for resonlng. He <br />stated that he had llnspected the property In <br />question on four separate occaalona and that on <br />one of those occasions he was elmoat involved <br />in a ear accident while attempting to drive <br />from Highway #12 onto Orono Orchard Road. He <br />noted that three cars tiere welting In front of <br />him to take a left hand turn onto Orono Orchard <br />Road and several cars were attempting to come <br />from Orono Orchard Road onto Highway 112. This <br />area has always been known as being hasardous In <br />nature and such a development would Increaee the <br />traffic flow measurably at this dangerous point. <br />Mayor Searles noted that this area has always <br />been dangerous for pedestrians and vehicular <br />traffic. Muhlch noted that another dangerous <br />traffic point was the overpass on Orono Orohard <br />Road. At the overpass* only one car Is able to <br />travel and on several occasions he has met other <br />cars there and has had to pull over to allow them <br />to peas under the bridge. <br />Muhlch stated that he spent half the day walking <br />through the project on one occaelon and noted <br />thet the project la very hilly in nature and <br />there are numeroua marahlanda end wetlanda <br />throughout the property.
