Gaffron, Asst Planning & Zoning Administrator <br />Date: February 12, 1990 <br />Subject: #1495 Rod Johnson/Otten Brothers - Septic Review <br />I have reviewed the existing and proposed septic system <br />information for this property, and would make the following <br />comments: <br />1. The existing system consists of 2 tanks and 900 square <br />feet of drainfield. We have no record of any problems with <br />this system since it was upgraded in 1982. <br />2. An alternate site to the east of the existing system has <br />been tested and is suitable for a sewage treatment mound. <br />This site meets all required setbacks and slope <br />considerations. <br />3. Per the attached diagram from City records, the existing <br />system is well within the property boundaries and does not <br />cross the proposed new lot line. <br />Based on the above information, I would recommend approval <br />of the proposed subdivision, finding that all septic requirements <br />for subdivision are met.
