Mabusth, Building & Zoning Administrator <br />January 12, 1990 <br />11483 Harold & Merle Vogt# 1342 Rest Point Circle - <br />Condition Use Permit - Public Hearing <br />Pertinent Ordinance - <br />Section 10.22# Subdivisions 1 s 2 - The lakeshore setback <br />regulations and hardcover regulations of the City adopted on <br />January 1# 1975. <br />Existing lakeshore structure is located approximately 30-35' <br />from the shoreline. Age unknown# it appears to be 40-50 <br />years old. The original use was a boat house. Please note <br />on the various site plans and surveys submitted for previous <br />land use reviews and building permits# the structure has <br />never been designated (review Exhibits H and L). The repair <br />of such a structure would require City approval. <br />Purpose of Review - <br />During the review of a land use application in the latter <br />part of 1989 in the vicinity of 1342 Rest Point Circle# certain <br />Council members noted the location and condition of the subject <br />structure. The Orono staff was asked to review the files to <br />determine if required approvals and/or permits were Issued to the <br />property owner as the structure appeared to be in excellent <br />condition. Staff reviewad the address file and 2 previous land <br />use application files.
