<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Long Lake City Administrator July 26, 2022 <br />City of Long Lake <br />450 Virginia Avenue, PO Box 606 <br />Long Lake, MN 55356. <br /> <br />RE: Purchase of Command Vehicles for Long Lake Fire Department <br /> <br />Dear Scott, <br /> <br />The City Council approved the purchase the two fire trucks at the July 25th , 2022 Council <br />meeting. The authority to purchase was contingent on several conditions. As you know, Orono <br />currently owns several pieces of fire equipment that are being utilized by Long Lake. The City would <br />like to continue that arrangement and the purchase of the two new fire trucks is contingent on: <br />1) Orono owning 100% of the fire trucks <br />2) The trucks be titled with the City of Orono <br />3) The trucks will be loaned to Long Lake in the same fashion as the other equipment owned by <br />Orono <br />4) The fire trucks are not subject to repurchase by Long Lake pursuant to the agreement dated <br />October 15th, 2002 like the other pieces of equipment exclusively owned by Orono. <br /> <br />Upon receiving confirmation of these terms the City of Orono will order the trucks. <br /> <br /> <br />Sincerely, <br /> <br />Adam Edwards <br />City Administrator <br />City of Orono <br />
