The septic system is an in-ground trench <br /> system. A summary of the inspection is below. <br /> Sentic Tank Condition <br /> 1. Pumpout not needed at this tune. <br /> 2. Pumpout needed within one year. (Last Pumpout 8-5-97) <br /> 3. Pumpout needed within 48 hours. <br /> 4. Inspection risers need to be installed on all tanks. Tanks�vere not able to be inspected. <br /> If tanks have not been pumped within l,ast three years, all tanks should be pumped now. <br /> The septic system is non-compliant because it is visibly discharging untreated sewage to the surface of the <br /> ground. This is considered to be an imminent public health threat. This discharge could have adverse effects <br /> to the environment including contamination of your�vell or neighboring wells. City Code requires that the <br /> s��stem be repaired or replaced within 90 days upon the date of this letter. The septic system must be replaced <br /> bS� September 6, 2001.
