The purpose of this action item is renew our Master Contract with MnDOT. <br /> <br />2. Background. The City of Orono maintains a Master Service Contract with MnDOT (Exhibit A). The <br />contract allows the city and MnDOT to provide services to one another and manage payments for the <br />same. Examples of commonly used MnDOT services include asphalt plant QA/QC for our streets <br />projects and assistance with traffic signal light replacements. <br /> <br />3. Cost and Funding. There is not cost for renewing the contract. Costs are included as services are <br />rendered. Funding for MnDOT provided services normally comes from the project supported via the <br />pavement fund or the Streets operating budget. <br /> <br />4. Staff Recommendation.
