<br />GENERAL DEMOLITION NOTES
<br />1. REMOVE ALL EXISTING C ARPET AND PAD IN EFFECT AREAS ONLY, UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED, BE
<br />SURE TO ONLY PULL BACK AND PROTECT EXISTING CARPET IN LOWER LEVEL TO COMPLETE WORK
<br />EFFECTIVLY; PAD MATERIAL CAN BE DISCARDED IF NECESSARY.
<br />2. REMOVE ALL GYPSUM BOARD ON WALLS AND CEILING PER PLAN. ALL EXISITNG WALL FRAMING TO
<br /> REMAIN INTACT UNTIL LOAD BEARING WALLS CAN BE DETERMINED.
<br />3. ONCE NON-LOAD BEARING ARE DETERMINED, REMOVE ALL INTERIOR WALLS UNLESS INDICATED

<br />4. PROMPTLY REMOVE DEMOLISHED MATERIALS FROM PROPERTY AND LEGALLY DISPOSE OF OFF-SITE.
<br />5. PROPERLY PROTECT ALL REMAINING WALLS, CEILINGS, FLOORS, AND EXPOSED FINISHES.
<br />6. PROMPTLY PATCH AND REPAIR HOLES AND DAMAGED SURFACES OF BUILDING CAUSED
<br /> BY DEMOLITION. RESTORE EXPOSED FINISHES OF PATCHED AREAS AND EXTEND
<br /> FINISH RESTORATION INTO REMAINING ADJOINING CONSTRUCTION.
<br />7. IF MOLD IS PRESENT AT ALL: FOR THE EXISTING WALLS TO REMAIN, REMOVE SURFACE FROM ONE SIDE,
<br /> REMOVE INSULATION FROM WALL C AVITIES, CLEAN ALL WALL CAVITY SURFACES, BACK SPRAY
<br /> ALL WALL CAVITYSURFACES WITH SEALER , INSTALL NEW CAVITY INSULATION, INSTALL NEW
<br /> WALL SURFACE TO MATCH EXISTING. THIS SERVICE IN NOT INCLUDED IN CONTRACT AND WILL
<br /> BE BID ON A TIME AND MATERIAL BASIS, IF FOUND AND APPROVED BY HOMEOWNER.
<br />8. ANY REMOVEAL OF EXISTING PLUMBING SHOULD BE CAPPED AND PATCHED AS REQUIRED.
