In the event that the proposed Replat occurs, we believe there must be something in writing establishing the set-back rules so this anomaly in the laws cannot be taken advantage of. This could be done by requiring a deed restriction or making the replat approval subject to establishing set back requirements based on the property before the homes are taken down. We have discussed our concerns with Sven from Stonewood Homes. We have a meeting at his office with the potential homeowners on Friday 4/15. We want to be good neighbors and we want the new owners to enjoy the Casco Point neighborhood as much as we have for the last 18 years. Sven has made indications that his proposed new homes set-back would be in line with the current set-back lines. We need more than a handshake in this regard. We all know things could change. Stonewood and/or new homeowners could change their mind and a new buyer/builder could come in and take advantage of the Replat if approved. Thank you for taking the time to review our concerns.
