<br /> • 1 Exterior Storage in R districts
<br /> 2 Sec 78-1 Hardcover means a hard surface that prevents or retards entry of water into the soil and
<br /> 3 causes water to run off the surface in greater quantities and at an increased rate of flow than prior
<br /> 4 to development. Hardcover shall include but not be limited to the following: all building footprints,
<br /> 5 driveways, sidewalks, stepping stones, retaining walls, patios, courts (sport, tennis, etc.), decks,
<br /> 6 pools, areas used for the extended outdoor storage of vehicles or equipment, and all other similar
<br /> 7 features or surfaces as determined by the city engineer or city planner.
<br /> 8 Sec. 78-1511. -Setbacks for parking.
<br /> 9 Required off-street parking in all districts shall meet the following setback requirements:
<br /> 10 (1) R districts. Within all R districts, all vehicles normally owned or kept by the occupants on the
<br /> 11 premises must have a garage stall or open parking space on the same lot as the principal use
<br /> 12 served. Garage stalls acce"sory to residential structures may be located anywhere on the lot other

<br /> 15 parking shall maintain the side and rear setback established for accessory buildings in that district.
<br /> 16 Open parking spaces on lots must have a location other than a required yard, except that such

<br /> 18 feet of a r ar lot lino.
<br /> 19 Sec. 78-1577. Exterior storage in R districts.
<br /> 20 In all R districts,it is the responsibility of the owner of any property,improved or unimproved,to maintain
<br /> 21 the outdoor areas; including courtyards and the like, of the property and adjacent rights-of-way in a manner that
<br /> • 22 complies with the following requirements.All recreational vehicles, mobile homes, camping trailers, motor homes,
<br /> 23 pickup coaches,travel trailers,special mobile equipment,and utility trailers shall meet the requirements of this
<br /> 24 Code.Additionally, all exterior storage must comply with subdivision(6)of this section.
<br /> 25 (1) Definitions:
<br /> 26 a. Blight means a deteriorated condition,something that impairs or destroys.
<br /> 27 b. Junk means any cast-off,damaged, discarded,junked,obsolete,salvage,scrapped, unusable,
<br /> 28 worn-out or wrecked object,thing or material composed in whole or in part of asphalt, brick,
<br /> 29 carbon,cement, plastic, or other synthetic substance,fiber,glass, metal, paper, plaster, plaster of
<br /> 30 paris, rubber,terra cotta,wool,cotton,cloth,canvas,organic matter or other substance,
<br /> 31 regardless of perceived market value or requiring reconditioning in order to be used for its
<br /> 32 original purpose.
<br /> 33 c. Recreational vehicle. Mobile home and recreational vehicle shall mean and include the following
<br /> 34 definitions,and shall not include any manufactured housing unit bearing a State of Minnesota
<br /> 35 manufactured housing seal or certificate,for uses including but not limited to those listed below:
<br /> 36 1. Camping trailer means a folding structure, mounted on wheels and designed for travel,
<br /> 37 recreation and vacation uses,also called a pop-up camper.
<br /> 38 2. Motor home means a portable,temporary dwelling to be used for travel, recreation and
<br /> 39 vacation,constructed as an integral part of a self-propelled vehicle.
