However, the system to be
constructed now will take up all the re that had been tested for primary
and alternate sites. Therefore, it w. l be necessary to have additional
soil testing done to determine the loca ion for a suitable alternate site
for future use. One possibility would b just north and slightly downhill
from the initial system, although othe possibilities may exist on the
property. This testing must be completed before a Certificate of Occupancy
will be issued, hence I suggest you star now to line someone up.
Additionally, during the discussions with the septic contractor, it
became apparent that the tank location, hile uphill from the low drainage
swale east of the house, could be jeopard' zed if a culvert is not installed
under the driveway. I would note to ou tha the approved site plan
distinctly requires that the 20' easemen drainageway be maintained, since
topographical data from the original s division indicates that drainage
heads generally southwest through th property. A culvert must be
installed across that driveway at the pr per elevation to maintin the pre-
existing drainage pattern. Although it is unfortunate that this came to
light after the driveway had been paved, it was something that was required
in the plan approval in 1987 and must b installed prior to issuance of a
Certificate of Occupancy for the house.
Please contact me at 473-7357 if yo have any questions.
i
Sincerly,,
<
%; ,.- -`._
Michael P.
