Mike Gaffron
From: lukekujawa@gmail.com on behalf of Luke Kujawa [Luke@YourBoatClub.net]
Sent: Monday, April 16, 2012 11:36 AM
To: Mike Gaffron
Cc: Lyle Oman; James Van Eyll; Michael Jellish; MG Kaminski; Thomas Manke
Subject: Meeting today?
Hello Mike,
Should we plan on meeting today? I am available at anytime as we have to find a solution and this as you know
has been going on since our conversations in October, December and January. We are set to open next week
and I am sure you can understand the level frustration I have as after the extended CUP process we needed to go
through, to now have this difficulty for something that is a permitted use in the city code. I have tried to
respond to every request you have had in a timely manor but my time is running out.
The proposed answers to your questions regarding the 500 Gallon tank are below:
is it mobile on wheels? No
does it need to be tied down? Not at this time but could be if more of a permanent solution
surrounded by concreted road barriers? Yes, on two sides.
how is it refilled? Gas Truck by fuel delivery service.
which spot in the parking lot? Spot number 1 on sketch, closest to lake and house and first dock.
is the hose reel mobile? What would you prefer?
attached to the ground? What would you prefer?
If you give me concrete requirements to the questions above we can work with it if I know we have a solution.
We could go the trailer rout if you prefer, we could mount or not mount the hose reel, we can move the tank
or we can move the pump.
How can something be a permitted use with no possible way to do it?
We are approaching 200 families from the area who are counting on us finding a solution, not to
mention hundreds more from other locations from across the metro. I don't know what else I can do.
Please help us find a solution.
Sincerely,
Luke Kujawa
Your Boat Club
1
