CITY OF ORONO <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> NO. 7252 <br /> l 'ES HO <br /> A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING <br /> OFFICER JAY DEMBOUSKI <br /> FOR HIS <br /> THIRTY TWO YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE <br /> TO THE CITY AS A POLICE OFFICER <br /> WHEREAS, Jay Dembouski was appointed to the position of Police <br /> Officer on April 6, 1990; and <br /> WHEREAS,Jay Dembouski was promoted to Corporal in January 1995; <br /> WHEREAS, Jay Dembouski honorably served the U.S. Marine Corp in <br /> Operation Desert Storm as an MP on a six month deployment; <br /> WHEREAS,Jay Dembouski was promoted to Sergeant in July 2000; <br /> WHEREAS, his years of service as Police Officer, Corporal and Sergeant <br /> has been characterized by his dedication to providing the highest quality police <br /> service to the city and its citizens; <br /> WHEREAS, Jay Dembouski has provided service to the community in a <br /> fair,respectful, honest,trustworthy, and selfless manner and; <br /> WHEREAS, Jay Dembouski is resigning from his position as Police <br /> Officer effective March 31,2022. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,that the Orono City Council <br /> does hereby recognize and commend Officer Jay Dembouski for his leadership,and <br /> dedicated service to the community as a Police Officer. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Orono City Council does hereby <br /> extend its best wishes to Officer Jay Dembouski. <br /> Adopted by the City Council of Orono,Minnesota at a regular meeting held <br /> this 28th day of February, 2022. <br /> AT T: / <br /> ZdA,L, / <br /> nna Carlson, City Clerk Dennis Walsh,Mayor <br />
