Having a truly attached garage would help me a great deal and in the future as we live out our life <br /> here it is a key factor in being able to stay mobile with additional mobility things like vans and scooters that <br /> can be in the garage and accessible. The tree car garage like for like replacement only requires approx 4 feet <br /> of the 50 foot front setback to help us complete of work on this property. <br /> 11. The granting of the proposed variance will not in any way impair health, safety, comfort, <br /> morals, or in any other respect be contrary to the intent of the Zoning Code. <br /> Response: It will not interfere with the zoning in any way. <br /> 12. The granting of such variance will not merely serve as a convenience to the applicant but is <br /> necessary to alleviate demonstrable difficulty. <br /> Response: The ability to attach the garage to the south side of the house is the only way we can get a <br /> reasonable entry to the home. Even if we could figure that entry into a "living room" we would still have <br /> issues going thru the septic area to get to the north side of the house.
