The purpose of this action item is to gain approval accepting Sergeant Chad <br />Stensrud letter of resignation. <br /> <br />2. Background. Chad Stensrud was hired as a police officer by the City of Orono on <br />December 13, 2004 and was promoted to Sergeant on February 25, 2014. Chad Stensrud has <br />submitted a letter of resignation. Chad Stensrud last day was December 31, 2021. Chad Stensrud <br />has accepted a police captain position with the city of Robbinsdale. The police department wishes <br />Chad Stensrud the best of luck in all of his future endeavors and for his service to the citizens of <br />Orono, Mound, Spring Park and Minnetonka Beach. <br /> <br />3. Staff Recommendation.
