In order to process your
application and determine if a variance will be needed, you will need to submit the water depths at
this location; otherwise the application is deemed incomplete. Per my 12/02/2021 email, if the
shoreline is 40 feet or less, the dock length is first reach to 4 feet of water depth with a maximum
length of 60 feet in length. This is where the water depths would be important if you need to obtain
a variance to extend the dock length.WeI have checked to see if water depth information is available
for this site, but have not been able to find accurate information.

Please let me know if you have questions or would like to discuss options. Thanks.

Vickie Schleuning
Executive Director | Lake Minnetonka Conservation District
5341 Maywood Road, Suite 200 | Mound, MN 55364
Ph 952-745-0789 | Fx 952-745-9085 | [vschleuning@lmcd.org]vschleuning@lmcd.org
www.lmcd.org
CONNECT WITH US

From: Jeremy Barnhart <jbarnhart@ci.orono.mn.us>
Sent: Wednesday, December 15, 2021 4:29 PM
To: Vickie Schleuning <vschleuning@lmcd.org>
Subject: RE: Big Island Dock license application

Vickie,
Thanks for confirming.
