The purpose of this action item is to adopt the 2022 City of Orono Capital Improvement <br />Plan (CIP). <br /> <br />2. Background. In 2012 the City formally adopted a CIP. Each year as part of the budget process, staff <br />updates the CIP in terms of costs and project order. Staff has reviewed the updated improvements with <br />the Council at work-sessions in October and November. <br /> <br />3. Cost. The CIP is a planning document only and approval of the CIP does not constitute approval of <br />any expenditures so there is no cost associated with the CIP approval. Cost of the individual projects and <br />equipment are identified in the document should be considered the best estimate available at this time. <br />The projects listed in the document will be brought to the council for approval and the actual cost will be <br />approved at that time. <br /> <br />4. Funding. Funding for the CIP is identified within the document. <br /> <br />5. Staff Recommendation.
