The purpose of this action item is to consider the 2022 Fee Schedule. <br /> <br />2. Background. The City updates its fee schedule annually. Staff has reviewed the fee schedule and <br />their recommended changes are highlighted in yellow on the fee schedule. These changes were discussed <br />with the council at a work session on November 22. Staff is still working through changes to the Park <br />Dedication fee section. Changes to this section of the schedule will be brought to the Council early next <br />year. <br /> <br />In the Utility Fee Section, the fees have been adjusted for Water, Sewer, Recycling, and Storm Water as <br />part of the rate study performed in conjunction with the 2022 budget process. Staff is recommending no <br />increase to the water and sewer rates, a minimal 1% increase to the storm water rate, and 4% to the <br />recycling fee. The increase to recycling reflects the contracted increase with Waste Management for <br />recycling pickup. These fees were discussed with the Council at the October 26th and November 22nd <br />work sessions. <br /> <br />3. Staff Recommendation. Staff recommends approval of the fee schedule as presented. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Consider a motion to adopt the attached Ordinance adopting the City's Fee Schedule for 2022. <br /> <br /> <br />Exhibits <br />A.
