File No. 98-0063 <br /> Respondents. ) <br /> IN THE MATTER OF THE CONDEMNATION OF <br /> CERTAIN LANDS FOR HIGHWAY PURPOSES <br /> TO: THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE ABOVE-NAMED COURT: <br /> YOU AND EACH OF YOU WILL PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Hennepin <br /> County, Petitioner/Appellant herein, hereby appeals to the above-named Court from <br /> the Award in the Report of Commissioners dated November 24, 1998, and filed in <br /> the sum of Thirty-seven Thousand One Hundred Fifty-eight ($37,158.00) Dollars as <br /> damages for the taking of Parcel No. 18 in these proceedings, the parcel being <br /> described on page 2 of the Report of Commissioners. <br /> Hennepin County does not appeal from the award for appraisal fees in the <br /> sum of Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars. <br /> The grounds for this appeal are that the award is grossly excessive and <br /> should be no greater than Twenty-four Thousand Three Hundred ($24,300.00) <br /> Dollars. <br />
