Purpose.The purpose of this action is to get a Park Commission approval of the revised schedule for <br /> Park Commission meetings. <br /> 2. Background. At the January 2020 Park Commission Meeting the Commission expressed an interest <br /> in adjusting the commission meeting schedule. <br /> 3. Existing Calendar. Currently the Park Commission meets formally every other month except <br /> December and on the alternating months has a work session. Meetings are on the first Monday of the <br /> month. <br /> January February March <br /> Regular(6 PM) Work Session(1 PM) Regular(6 PM) <br /> April May June <br /> Work Session(1 PM) Regular(6 PM) Work Session(I PM) <br /> July August September <br /> Regular(6 PM) Work Session Regular(6 PM) <br /> October November December <br /> Work Session(I PM) Regular(6 PM) No Meeting <br /> 4110 4. Proposed Calendar. The proposed meeting calendar consists of one regular meeting per quarter,one <br /> work session per quarter at 1PM and one work session per quarter at 6PM. The exception remains the <br /> fourth quarter when there is not a meeting in December.
